I should comb my hair and sort my clothes… I am expecting visitors! As a newbie edublogger, you don’t expect to get that much community attention… but this morning I read this really interesting post by Sue Waters and posted a comment on it. Sue is always kind enough to reply to all her comments, but this time she went a lot further and quoted me on her next post!
So if you have dropped by following her link, say hello. As you can see, we are still under construction, but we hope to have this place up and running soon. I might put one of those fancy Clustrmaps up just to enjoy the red dots… I am, after all, enjoying Andy Warhol’s fifteen minutes of fame. (Image by Feistypoo)

Hi Raja
I’m always happy to link to other bloggers. While I can’t guarantee they will follow the link across to your blog — I hope I do manage to get some to visit. Although based on the fact that you were cheeky enough to say I’m not showing you my photo right now I don’t think you need to worry about brushing your hair. I do work hard on responding to comments on my blogs — which is hard because I have two blogs. But readers like to know that the blogger is acknowledging the fact they have taken time to write a comment.
Good luck with your new blog and look forward to reading lots of interesting posts.

So, you’ve discovered Sue’s wonderful mentoring as well! Sue helped me out immensely when I was starting to blog just back in January and she’s continuing to help me as I go along. She sent out a link to this blog on twitter – that’s how I found it! Edublogs is such a great place to host a blog and has an excellent community – I look forward to reading more here
I’ve “played” a lot in edublogs, so if you have any questions, you can contact me on my blog at http://googtweetblog.edublogs.org………

Hi
Sue Waters, who I have never met and lives even further away from me (I am in England) made me think about my blogging methods and habits when we did a Better Blog Challenge last summer.
My blog doesn’t get a huge readership, but thats not what its about. What matters to me is that i’ve got a niche website for those who are interested or work in my field, but I always keep the door open and the coffee pot on for when people drop by.
Keep up the good work on the site as those interested in use of blogs in education will soon come visiting.

Happy to encourage a newcomer to blogging although, as I remarked to Sue (via Twitter) I’ve been doing this for less than a year myself.
Blogging is a wonderful venue for professional and personal reflection and growth. It also helps you develop your skills in many areas, as you search for relevant information & images, refine your writing technique, and communicate with people from all over the world.
I’ll add your feed to my Reader and follow along on your journey as I continue to add to my own Journey.
Good luck and have fun!

Sue said to say hi and, you know, you just don’t say no to Sue. I’m a business blogger, regular attendee at blog meetups and I live in Northbridge. I don’t like to brag but I’ve also learned to brush my teeth left handed.

Sue – thanks so much again for the quote! Ever since I first commented on one of your early Edublogger post I have felt you were extremely positive in all your feedback. I am enjoying (and sharing) posts from both your blogs and every now and then venturing into your wiki, etc. It is a pleasure to walk along with your guidance! Maybe I’ll comment re: your photos one of these days too
But that is because she doesn’t say no to edubloggers either… Tell me more about that vgf of yours – might have to drop her a line…
Kate – I have seen your blog referenced a couple of times, but have not read it in detail yet. Twittering still puts me off a bit, so I’ll get confident with these tools before I plunge into a sea of tweets.
Paul, dmcordell – thanks so much for dropping by. This is exactly what I was anticipating, yet makes me feel great – getting unexpected connections and new people to check out and converse with. Hope you don’t get put off by the odd post in Spanish!
Bret – you certainly don’t say no to Sue!
To all of you – thank you so much; you made my day! Now I am back to reality and set up an exam for my Year 12s…

It is impossible to say no to Sue!!! Welcome to the blogosphere, I have only been here actually since the new year (I played around a bit in starting in October) and have learned so much out here (only been using Twitter since last weekend). I have found that generally people are helpful and willing to give suggestions that will actually help you in your journey in Web2.0. Good luck and enjoy your time in the sun. Harold

just when i thought my blog was starting to become more popular – getting views even from year 12 teachers.. – i found out that you (”raja”, as your new friends call you now) had visitors from all over the globe! how have you managed to get yourself a link in sue’s blog. alright i don’t really know her, but it sounds impressive anyway! enjoy your fame.. as long as you can..
p.s: ok, do i have to apologise for my last blog entry? i mean – no answers, no comments.. was it that evil? by the way, don’t expect any other comment coming from me to be in english. still waiting for some feedback in MVD..
